I make Pactroll, an iPhone app that locks the apps you can’t stop opening. I write the code, the words, and the replies to your emails.
Why I build
Deleting an app removes the app, not the urge. Most of us have deleted something, then reinstalled it a week later. I wanted a tool for the moment the urge shows up, not a lecture afterwards.
I like software that asks for less: no account, no data, no streak to protect. If it’s doing its job, you should need it less over time.
